Updated: Jul 18
As per the latest Government announcement, it has been confirmed that all restrictions will be lifted by the 19th of July.
We assure you we will be following all Government guidance and ensuring we deliver the safest possible festival for you all.
98% of our event is classed as outside. However, we still need to take precautions so everyone feels welcome and safe.
Our current plans are set out below. Please do be aware that this page will be updated as and when we have more detail, so please do check back again soon.
IMPORTANT: Please read and make sure you understand the below…
WHAT DO WE NEED YOU TO DO?
We would like you to be able to show your NHS COVID Pass or text and/or email to confirm your negative lateral flow test result at the site entrance.
NHS COVID Pass The pass will show whether you have been fully vaccinated, if you've had a recent negative test or if you've had Covid in the past six months.
How do I get the pass?
You can get the NHS Covid Pass either:
two weeks after your second vaccine dose
if you've had a negative PCR or lateral flow test result in the past 48 hours - and have reported it on the NHS website (this pass lasts for 48 hours after the result)
if you have had a positive PCR test result within the past six months, and have finished self-isolating (this pass lasts for 180 days after the result)
Once logged in, you can request the NHS Covid Pass. The system generates a QR code, which lasts for 28 days.
People who've had both jabs can also request an NHS Covid Pass letter by calling 119. This only shows vaccination status and has no expiry date.
Lateral flow test
If you haven't been fully vaccinated or had COVID in the last 180 days you will need to take a Lateral Flow Test (NHS approved), taken within 48 hours prior to your arrival at ND7s.
Once you’ve taken your test, log your result here: https://www.gov.uk/report-covid19-result. You will receive a text and/or email to confirm your result – we need you to show this on arrival.
How do I get a lateral flow test?
You can pick up tests at your local pharmacy or order here: https://www.gov.uk/order-coronavirus-rapid-lateral-flow-tests
If you refuse to take a test or show your result, you may be turned away from the festival and you will not be eligible for a refund.
Track & Trace
Download the NHS COVID-19 app before you arrive. QR codes will be displayed at the entrance and our roaming ticketing team will have some too – please ensure you scan this before you enter the site.
If you cannot download the app, we will have a sign-in sheet available.
If on the day of the event, or in the 10 days prior, you or a member of your group has tested positive for Covid-19, displayed any recognised symptoms of Covid-19, been in contact with anyone who has tested positive for Covid-19, then you or that group member should not attend the event.
Please wear a mask when entering the clubhouse. Everywhere else on site is classed as outdoors so the mask isn't required but if you wish to wear one please do.
If anyone develops COVID-19 symptoms during the event, please inform your team manager and leave the site immediately. Return home with their kit and equipment and follow HM Government guidelines. The team manager is then to inform ND7s Rugby Control or Bar Manager.
